St Barnabas primary school is situated in the local community of Openshaw. We are a CE school of 240 pupils and have been supporting our community since 2012. What makes our school special? What do I need to bring to the role?

You will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status

Have experience of teaching an EYFS class in a primary school

Be an excellent EYFS practitioner with high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour - a no glass ceilings mantra!

Have completed high quality current EYFS training

Be a great team player who motivates and inspires others

Build positive relationships with parents

Work closely with outside agencies for the betterment of pupils

Support the Leadership Team in implementing the vision of the school

Be reflective, willing to embrace new ideas and take risks in the pursuit of excellence.

· Be an adaptable and resilient professional

·   Have bags of personality and enthusiasm

·  Be highly motivated, with a can-do-attitude

·   Love working with and helping children to achieve their goals

Have a great sense of humour and a good sense of fun!
