The Role

St Barnabas C of E Primary Academy is part of Vantage Academy Trust which was set up in 2012 and is one of 10 schools across Manchester, Trafford, Salford, Bolton and Knowsley. It is a place of learning where all are inspired to achieve together.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Learning Mentor who has:

Have the ability to engage constructively with, and build working relationships with, a wide range of young people and their families
Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team with teaching staff and outside agencies
Have the experience of supporting students with mental health, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Have a willingness to manage your own time effectively, work flexibly and use their own initiative

Full time salary will be pro-rated to reflect term time working.
